@evilbeerman Start with a three string shape that doesn’t require barring/rolling a finger. Use a metronome. You’ll get it down fairly quick if you’ve been playing a while, especially if you’re someone that naturally economy picks during string changes.

Everybody *loves* to argue about crime up/crime down, but what's so devastating about mass immigration into safe European countries and into states like Maine is that they're all basically going from 0 to 1. That binary shift from "basically no crime" to "now we have crime and you can argue every year about whether it's going up or down" is a far bigger shift. Zero to one is the big one. It's just completely insane that anybody would ever do that to themselves willingly. All kinds of things that weren't relevant before will now be relevant. Such a stupid waste.

They didn’t need a new PvP IP. They just needed to invest in Destiny’s PVP (maps and modes) and actually iterate on Gambit (a hill I’ll die on: it was a 10/10 idea). Instead they left both to rot while chasing a competitive extraction shooter that barely anyone asked for.
As a 10k+ hour PvPer, I just wanted real focus on Crucible balance and weapon/ability tuning. If that was impossible, a breakaway competitive F2P hero/arena shooter reusing D2 assets and models with dedicated servers would’ve fit what they do best way better and cost far less than $250mn to make…

Two years ago dad passed away from complications of a catastrophic fall. He was a quadriplegic for five months before his passing. I have a video of him playing soccer with my son just a couple of months before his fall. Running, laughing, playing his favorite sport and being a great grandfather. I’m grateful for this video. This is garbage. Every data set you look at shows that political violence (especially that involving fatalities) has been mostly a rightwing problem over the past twenty years. (Property-directed political action is usually more of a problem on the left than the right.)
This holds true even if you remove the problematic methodologies and assumptions (e.g., classifying Islamists and prison skinheads as rightwing) used in some of the studies conducted by ideologically-motivated organizations.
More recent data show that this longer-term trend may be reversing as leftwing activity rises in volume and targeted lethality. Data from 2025 and later is still emerging and will provide a more complete picture.
It's useful to remember that political violence is still a tiny percentage of all fatal violent crime. Racially and ethnically-motivated violence is far more common.
