Thankful for the support of my adoptive government. 2012 was a revolutionary year and the party spirit only grows greater.

I would also like to extend warm congratulations to China's new leadership and to many years of friendship.

Was able to visit the DPRK's new amusement park. And no, that's not my relative on the new italian ride. Looks like great fun though.

Although imported cell phones are not permitted in DPRK, iPads are unofficially permitted, even if they use cellular technology!

My adoptive leaders meet regularly with senior Chinese officials, and I can't help but be proud of the civility between these two nations.

As for Dear Leader's conveyance: These cars are gifts from visiting dignitaries and are received in tribute to the revolutionary spirit.

Impressed, but not surprised, with the solidarity by all in my adoptive land. 2012 will be prosperous for the People's Republic, I feel.

Even an American like me is feeling great sorrow at the loss of Kim Jong-il and extends sympathy and good-will to Kim Jong-eun.

Looking forward to my first meeting with #KoryoTours on April 21st at the beautiful Koryo Hotel!

Looking for more info on the new (Chinese/North Korean?) proposal for the 6 Party Talks to have 4 working groups if anyone wants to chat...

The mood in the capital in general is upbeat, and at the higher levels is unexpectedly buzzy. Must have to do with some talks.

On the other hand, I have a lot of additional privileges while still interacting with Koreans, something foreign visitors can't do.

Someone asked me if I am able to associate with foreigners. The answer is "very rarely." James and my Korean friends are enough for me.
