Regarding USL Championship and Player's Union CBA Negotiations and all the shit that comes with it ... This is yet another example of the type of crap that doesn't happen in open ecosystems (pro/rel). In open ecosystems: * Players/workers are able to find their true market value. * Clubs/businesses are incentivized to maximally invest/spend due to market forces (whether it be players, staff, surrounding infrastructure, etc ...). If they don't, eventually, they'll be relegated. If you don't understand these things, you don't understand fundamental economic principles - to say nothing about how football works.

Here’s the fix for the piecemeal @USL_HQ #ProRelForUSA plan: Open it to every US club - without franchise fee or other impediments. Here’s the fix for player unions: Join together and become one organization for all US pro players. Stop whining. Start doing.

Amelie was a champion of girls right of equal access to play football, both in primary and secondary school. The family are walking from John O'Groats to Lands End to honour something Amelie wished to do, and to raise money for other children / families who may face the same.
