Wise words from a wise guy 😂. All seriousness weather is something you should never get yourself stressed over. You can put yourself through absolute hell and for what? You will never ever beat nature and that my friends is a fact! 💚

@JoddyLoo Enjoyment is more important than scoring anyway Steve so keep going butty 💪. I'm good thank you, grass is still growing so not out of a job yet lol. 😅
English

@JamesMatthewman Just the usual James…a lot of great holes…but always a couple or three awful ones…Especially with a medal card in my hand…😖…I can be very good for AmAms though…😏…but still keep coming back for more…⛳️…Hope all good with you…👊🍻
English

@JoddyLoo Thanks Steve. Hope the golf is still treating you well 😀🙏

@HgkJohnc Hiya John mate. Mr kimmings and myself were actually chatting about you on our travels around the course. Even if it was regarding leather jackets lol hope you're keeping well butty ☺️👍

Was great to see you my friend. Enjoyed doing the filming with you also. Doing the videos really made me miss interacting on here with everyone. The turf family on here are awesome.

@CuthbertEddie Deffo mate. Coring is never a bad thing. Especially when you genuinely have suffering greens etc. Just I think methods and technology have moved on with the times 👍😎
English

🚨🚨 Since part 1 did well with great interaction, here's part 2 of coring. I was very mislead with what I learned over the years with disturbance theory but thats ok because it gives me the opportunity to do "MY" own original take on it anyway 😎👌#greenkeepingwithjames
English

@JamesMatthewman Thanks mate, haven’t overseeded in those 20 yrs either, make the best of what we have. Seed and sand are expensive, know which one I prefer.
English

@PhilColl_ICL Thanks Phil and absolutely right. OM management is top priority. Sometimes there will be instances where coring is inevitable due to numerous circumstances but IF things are balanced then I see no need to do what the book says. Cheers mate 🍻
English

@JamesMatthewman And good to see you back on here. You're content always seems to deliver positive engagement 👏
English

@Woolleyparkgolf Absolutely matey. I said previously times have moved on, people are out mowing surfaces in a hard frost to get rid of worm casts and end up with a lovely cut surface and no damage. Jim Arthur wouldn't be turning, he be spinning in his grave lol. Keep up the great work bud 👌💪
English

@JamesMatthewman I’m with you buddy, I found myself coring because it was the done thing. When I realised I was removing perfectly healthy soil and replacing with inert sand at a huge cost to the bank balance, staff morale and golfers experience I quickly packed it in! 😂
English

@Radyrgreenkeep1 Beautifully put mate 👌 and it's testament to the course and work you put in. Always hear never ending praise of the surfaces you guys produce there 💪😎
English

@JamesMatthewman Agree James, haven’t cored in over 20yrs, just heavy sanding and lots of holes, regular dressing etc. If Om levels increase, occasional scarifying.
