Yikes! I came across this guy yesterday going for a swim in Irondequoit Bay. Would you do this? After he came out of the water he told me he does this every day for health purposes. Cold-water swimming is surging in popularity, particularly in northern Europe and elsewhere.

I was excited to hear from the great grandson of the pastor of this church on the Tug Hill Plateau around 1900 - and that 'many significant family events took place in that church over several generations.' A print will be headed his way soon.

South Grand Island Bridge on the Niagara River is a beautiful thing, especially on a starry night.

Lake Ontario jewels - a beautiful sight. But there is one thing technically that bothers me about this shot. Can you guess what it is? Hint: it's one of the most important concepts in photography. And it was caused by what I call 'photographic laziness' on my part.
