@ifetemini @Quo_Riri You don't have to be sick, or tired to wanna order out sometimes, don't marry that kind of person I, what happened to the romance of having a date night where you go eat out, you go explore the city (if you both can afford these things)

I just had a long conversation with someone I’m in the talking stage with, and honestly, I’m trying to understand what exactly I said wrong. We were discussing marriage and I mentioned that there may be days when my husband and I decide to order food, maybe for a change of taste, or on days when I’ve had a really long day and there’s nothing to warm up in the fridge. He immediately got upset and said a woman shouldn’t say something like that to a man she’s getting to know because cooking is a wife’s responsibility. Now I’m genuinely confused… is it really such a big deal for a woman to occasionally order food with her own money just to make sure both of you eat on days she’s unable to cook in marriage, and must she always cook?

@ekowarmah @ifetemini @the_gozoman This is absolute crap sir!! She is here discussing with someone she may marry if things go well, and saying things that are important to her, your ass want her to be quiet so that when it happens and it becomes an issue, y'all can say she's a bad wife.

@ifetemini @the_gozoman Every home as days like this. Any woman who says otherwise is lying to you. Sometimes, your husband himself will even suggest taking you out or ordering in so you can rest. The problem is you being loud about it. It implies there will be more days like this, instead of fewer.

My UK 🇬🇧 Landlord called me over the weekend to say she wanted to come over for us to sign some fresh paper works 🤓🤓 Omo… my heart skipped. I told my Oga straight up, “this One landlord is coming I hope she’s not going to increase rent oo😫😫 Cause even if it’s by £50 I’m not paying I’ll just tell her I want to pack“😏😏 Long story short, she just came to make us aware of the new laws and renters right that will be in place from May 1st.🤩🤩 Apparently here’s what is changing in a couple of days, if you are renting in the UK 🇬🇧 1. no more fixed contract, (6 months or 1yr contracts dissolved) and you can leave a house with just 2 months notice 🤓🤩 2. no more sudden rent increase 🏡💸The law states that they can only increase rent once a year (this one sweet me ehnnnn😂😂) meaning landlords can’t use hikes in rent to indirectly chase u out 🤌 3. ”no fault’s eviction ” has ended ❌… Meaning, your landlord can’t just give u quit notice, they need to prove a specific legal fault u have first in the court before telling you to leave and they must give 4months notice 🥸🤓 4. no bidding wars 🤓🤓🤓 - when I was house hunting, there are some houses I loved and wanted to pay for but someone else offered high price and landlord gave to the highest bidder. That has now ended. Landlords must agree and put a fixed price before advertising a house for rent 🤩🤩🥳 5. no more advance on rent…💸🧾💰 Upfront payments has been abolished so that people who don’t have savings can rent and pay as they earn😜🤓 6. landlords cannot discriminate anymore . They must not refuse to rent because you have pets, children or you’re on benefits- (this is huge 🫶🏻😸) Lastly, 7. decent home standards: landlords are legally required to fix damps, molds, and safety hazards, if you notice any of these just send your landlord email straight and if they don’t respond you can report to your council 😺😹😸🤭 I just said ” did you come all these way just to tell me I now have more rights in your property?“🫣 She just laughed over it and said “legally, yes“. Then I said, On that last note, well there’s some molds behind the wall in one of the rooms, I just noticed it and still researching on the best way to handle it ” She said where?! And I showed her. That’s how landlord switched into full fixing mode, she went outside and grabbed this bucket, filled it with some liquid and legit started washing off the mold 🫠🫠 After washing she sprayed it and painted the wall herself and did other small small fixes here and there.🤓🤓🤓 In my mind I was like, ”this can never be naija Landlord o“😛😝 Code Scholar’s

They said more than five police officers were involved in the extrajudicial killing of Oghenemine. So why is only one person being paraded as the culprit? Justice cannot be selective. Every officer involved must be identified, investigated, and prosecuted accordingly. Anything less is a coverup. We must not allow this to fade away like just another social media trend. Real lives are being lost, and silence only enables more abuse. The world watched how justice was pursued in the case of George Floyd. We must demand the same level of accountability here. If you can’t make a post, please share this message. Speak up. Demand justice. #ExtraJudicialKillings #EndPoliceBrutality #AlwaysFilmThePolice Harrison Gwamnishu

@Prince_dc21_ They cannot force her to terminate a pregnancy, and she shouldn't succumb to frustration, I understand but wanting another baby In a tough economy, it's not ideal, but E don happen, and if the man sues for divorce, he gets to take up responsibility for his kids either way.

"I'm age 29, am married and work as a sectary. My husband is an accountant. We have two boys, age 4 & 1 year old & I recently discovered that I'm 1 month pregnant with an unplanned child. We were happy, or at least I thought he was, until his mother received the news. The same day his mom got the news, she paid us a surprised visit. She came all the way from the village to tell me that I am setting her son back instead of focusing on getting a better job. She told me that, I'm just giving birth because I don't want her son's progress. I tried explaining & even showed her that I am on contraception, but it happened anyway. She just said I am lying. All that time, my husband was just sited & very quiet, & just watching how she was scolding & insulting me. Honestly, I was so hurt & disappointed. While I was still dealing with that, In the bedroom during bed time, my husband asked me to clerify him again about how old the pregnancy was. I told him then, & asked him why he was so quiet while I was being scolded & insulted by his mom. He said that his mom was making sense & that we are already paying so much for everything. I earn N100k monthly & some months more than that due to commission. I told him that I never heard him complain before, & even when i first told him about the pregnancy he seemed happy, i asked what was going on because I also contribute financially at home Now, the mother is asking & pressuring me to end the pregnancy cus it's still early, & he is suddenly supporting this statement by saying, "Well, we are still young; we can always have a child again." I'm shocked. I'm in disbelief—how could he do that to me? His mother hasn't left yet. Apparently, she is waiting for me to make the decision, & she says she is going to help me with support through with the process.. Oh my goodness, I am so disappointed I picked a few of my things together with my kids & I'm currently at a friends place at the moment. I'm so disappointed & confused on what exactly to do about this. I don't know if i should leave him & go back to my parents or if i should continue with the marriage & go through this process, pls advice me on how exactly to go about this! 😥🤦"

@renoomokri @segalink You are shameless sir. Real people lost their loved ones, yet you are still politicizing this, it's not about APC, ADC, tinubu or even your shameless self, it's a time for solidarity and quietude to reflect on our common values as a people, (not that you have any I have seen)

President Tinubu Remembered Jos Because of Conscience, While The ADC Forgot Jos Because of Power! I hope the people of Jos can see what is happening. Immediately after the crisis, prominent members of the African Democratic Congress pretended to care about you. They all spoke about the situation and blamed the President. They trended #JosisBleeding and recklessly pointed accusing fingers at the President and his government without offering solutions. But immediately the Independent National Electoral Commission obeyed the order of the Court of Appeals and de-recognised their monetised leadership of the party they bought like an Okrika cloth at Onitsha Market, what happened? What did they do? They immediately forgot about Jos. Not one of them has even spoken a word about the crisis in Jos. Their attention shifted instantly and totally to INEC. Don't take my word for it. Go to their social media profiles. If you can find even one post about Jos, return here and I will delete this article. And why? Their concern was not real! Because power, not people, is their focus. And when they perceived a threat to their power grab, they revealed their true nature. In contrast, look at the actions of the President. He was not scheduled to visit Jos. He was already pencilled to go to Iperu, Ogun State, today to flag off operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport. But because of the value he places on human life over power, President Tinubu prioritised Jos over projects and flew to Plateau State to commiserate with the government and people of that state and conduct an on-the-spot assessment before giving further directives. He met with the survivors and talked with them. He showed empathy and also listened to them. The people of Angwan Rukuba felt loved and appreciated by their President, who set a precedent of compassion. He approved the immediate recruitment of 1,000 Forest Guards for Plateau State and the installation of CCTV cameras to enhance security. He offered not only hope but also solutions. While this was going on, Peter Obi was giving an interview explaining why he is working with alleged treasury looters, before joining his colleagues at their press conference to attack INEC. If Nigeria is looking for leadership, we saw it today in Jos. For those looking for what desperation looks like, they saw it at the ADC chieftains' press conference, where they complained that the second-hand party they bought was being cheated by INEC. Today, I visited Angwan Rukuba in Jos North Local Government Area with a heavy heart following the heinous attack on innocent citizens. I stood with grieving families, listened to their pain, and shared in their loss. No words can truly capture the depth of sorrow in moments like this, but I want every affected family to know you are not alone. Your pain is my pain, and the pain of Plateau State. I assure you that those responsible for this evil act will not go unpunished. My administration will pursue justice relentlessly until the perpetrators are brought to book. We will also ensure that the lives lost are honored with dignity through a befitting burial. Furthermore, the Plateau State Government will take full responsibility for the medical treatment of all those currently receiving care as a result of this attack. I call on all citizens our traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community stakeholders to work with us. Security is a shared responsibility, and together, we must rise above division and confront this challenge with unity and resolve. Let me reaffirm: my administration remains fully committed to restoring peace, strengthening security, and rebuilding trust across Plateau State.
