In 1998, 14-year-old Michael Crowe woke up to a nightmare. His 12-year-old sister, Stephanie, had been stabbed to death inside their family home. But instead of finding her killer, police began focusing on Michael. They thought he seemed too calm. Too distant. Too “preoccupied” after his sister’s body was found. Then came the interrogation. For hours, detectives pressured the teenage boy, lied to him, and convinced him he must have killed Stephanie without remembering it. Eventually, Michael gave a false confession. He was charged with murdering his own sister. But all was not as it seemed. DNA evidence later pointed to a homeless man seen in the area that night. The case against Michael collapsed, and years later, he was declared factually innocent. In 2011, his family won a $7.25 million settlement after the false accusation destroyed their lives.

My son just aged out of my health insurance. Two choices for him. Pay over $1,400 a month for COBRA or Pay over $400 a month on the Health Marketplace, which is actually the least expensive plan there. Bears W 8-1 Week 10 bye Week 11 vs New Orleans Easy win Bears 9-1 Week 12 @ Detroit Hate these Thanksgiving games on the road. Weird stuff happens. Lions win but we get them back later. L Bears 9-2 Week 13 vs Jaguars. Tough game but Caleb gets us the win over Trevor. Bears W 10-2 Week 14 @ Miami. Nice little warm game late in the season. We are way too physical for them.
