@codyplof @seanfrank We use SimplyVat (not affiliated at all). There’s a system called EORI now where your foreign company collects/pays vat. They plug into Shopify. No need for a EU entity and no need to manage each countries VAT individually. Significantly cheaper than global-e 🤷🏻‍♂️.

@seanfrank @JamesPetrellis We have our own UK entity. We decided to go with global E for EU. It just wouldn’t be possible to have our team do it for every country.

@XyzCammy For ad spend, Amex biz gold is the only correct answer. Gets you 4x points per dollar (up to $500k/year but resets every calendar year). Runner up: Ink Business Preferred Chase (3x points per ad dollar). For purchases $5k+ (inventory), Amex biz plat. 1.5 points per dollar.

Shopify shut down it's Marketplace for buying and selling brands, ClearCo wound down its version ClearX. Is small market/ lower-mid-market eCom brokerage a good business?
