@JamesRedburn1 @AEPsychologists I’m not sure the bursary figures quoted here are correct. From Sept most LAs will pay the uplifted bursary at £24,681 (year 2) and £26,010 (year 3). In my LA we also give £1k for mileage.

.@AEPsychologists report on Trainee EPs is astounding: - 79% of TEPs cannot live independently with the bursary. - TEPs on contracts take home £7k more annually than TEPs on bursaries. TEPs deserve a fairer financial offer for their vital and hard work. #twittereps

Recommendation 6: Consider the power of group dynamics. Some YP like learning from each other; others feel groups provide insufficient personalisation and spread anxiety. Working in groups is efficient but it may not support everyone and could make things even harder. 8/8

Recommendation 5: Explore nuanced barriers to engagement. There were many 'barriers' to positive outcomes, many reported infrequently: barriers are idiosyncratic and hard to predict. Discuss YP's difficulties to show you’re listening and respecting YP's perspectives. 7/8
