Excited to announce that the Poles have successfully infiltrated the Society of Army Historical Research. My paper on the British Mission to Poland has been accepted for February's conference - Gubbins, Carton de Wiart, and the first British civilian casualty of the war.

Do any twitterstorians have any hot tips on using the IWM collection online sound archive to find accounts from specific divisions?

@SilenceInPolish Man, I imagine if someone was getting ready to submit their PhD, had spent the last years spending entire days downloading and categorising document photos and had only just found about this they’d be real mad.

I'm sure you know this but a quick way to save phone photos of documents into OneDrive: 1. Create album with file number in Gallery 2. Create corresponding folder in OneDrive 3. Ensure gallery and OneDrive are synced. 4. Upload Gallery album to OneDrive folder.
