@CaseyMattox_ There seems to be some disconnect between DOJ and the new administration in several lingering admin law cases. I've seen a couple of filings that make me wonder who is driving the ship because the arguments seem out of line with the President's stated policy preferences.

Reverse thread below. Bottom line - the administration argued last night that even after Loper Bright (a decision rightly championed by the President in his executive orders), bureaucrats can still force fishermen to pay for government monitors on their boats.
