Casey, a determined but mid-ranked adventurer, believes his story is one he must write himself by climbing to the top. When a seemingly simple job in a new city thrusts him into a conspiracy of civil war and mysterious interference on all sides, he's forced to confront his own limits. To protect his team and the city, Casey must face down an enemy far beyond his strength, learning that a hero's story isn't just about winning. I hope you'll enjoy following Casey's journey as much as I enjoyed writing it. Sometime in mid May, ill have some early review copies, if anyone is interested!

Being unfollowed after sending a detailed assessment with a nice package fitting the prospective client's budget, and also valuable info and tips on book promotion was not on my bingo card today. 🫠 If you're looking for me, I'll be designing the animated teaser I'm currently working on. ☕

Starlight Jewel by E.L. Lyons ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A rich and carefully crafted fantasy story with a world that feels both beautiful and dangerous. One of the strongest parts of the book is how much thought has clearly gone into the worldbuilding. The world feels layered and intentional, with its own social structure, magic, politics, and moral complications. It does not feel thrown together for convenience. It feels lived in, carefully shaped, and full of history. Axly is also a fascinating main character. She is dangerous, capable, and morally complicated, but there is also a sadness and weight to her that makes her feel more than simply skilled or mysterious. Her place between worlds gives the story a lot of emotional texture, especially as the book explores identity, loyalty, guilt, survival, and the cost of the choices people make. The writing is strong, the editing is clean, and the story has a polished feel throughout. You can tell E.L. Lyons (@Lyons_Pen) put a tremendous amount of care into this book, not only in the plot and characters, but in the atmosphere and smaller details that make the world feel real. I listened to the audiobook version, and the quality was excellent. The narration and production helped bring the story to life and gave the entire experience a professional, immersive feel. A beautifully written, thoughtful, and well-crafted fantasy from an author who clearly poured a lot of heart into her world. Five stars.
