I do think it's pretty clear that from roughly 2018 to 2022 upper middle class whites signaling support for certain fashionable ideas and movements with destructive effects were usually personally insulated from those effects.
They reaped the social rewards of their moral grandstanding, without ever paying a price for it.
"Luxury beliefs" seems like fairly good term to describe that aspect of the Great Awokening.

Not that this stuff doesn't contain some elements of truth, but I notice that conservatives have gotten unhealthily obsessed with various efforts to pathologize and psychoanalyze why people disagree with them — all this "luxury beliefs" stuff blah blah. It's loser shit.

I am blue-eyed. I once watched an outdoor movie in a country where 100% of the people have dark eyes. For no particular reason, there was a light shining out towards the audience from beside the screen. I could not watch the movie because the light hurt my eyes. I don't know why people argue with me over George Floyd. There are maybe like 12 people who know more about this case than me and none of them are academics or leftist.
- It took 17 minutes for EMS to go 2 blocks because they went to the wrong address.
- Chauvin called EMS 30 seconds into Floyds Arrest.
- Floyd is seen on Camera consuming pills
- Chauvin was trained in the technique he used and it was retroactively made illegal and prior training was hidden from the jury
- The medical examiner admitted if this happened at Georges home with no police, it was an OD
- EMS didn't hook George up to Oxygen when put in the ambulance. They forgot to hook the tubing to the O2 tanks
- Floyd still had a faint heartbeat when he reached the hospital despite all of this

The most personally repellant man to occupy the White House in my lifetime, and it's not close.
Passports represent the United States, not an individual. They are not objects meant to advance a personality cult or a president's narcissism. This is just the latest example of Trump trashing longstanding norms of behavior, and it sets a troubling precedent.
And of course it provides still more ammo to people around the world who claim the Trump administration is falling into Dear Leader territory.

There's such an asymmetry on the left and right in terms of theory of mind.
We (the political right) can perfectly articulate every single left/leftist talking point - we can explain their entire worldview in a way they would agree with.

My life became increasingly at risk after I exposed mass fraud in Democrat states, where Democrats would rather defend the fraudsters than the person exposing the fraud. The rhetoric and attitude from the party you belong to is a major problem. By calling people fascists and Nazis, eventually enough people will believe it. Then saying, “Political violence is political cowardice. It is unacceptable in all forms,” is cowardice given the words shouted from your very own mouth.

Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. It’s also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that U.S. Secret Service Agents show every day. I’m grateful to them – and thankful that the agent who was shot is going to be okay.

The ADL classifies a shitload of stuff as “right wing extremism” and almost nothing as “left wing extremism”. That is the heart of the problem.
If white people killing black people, which is rare per capita, is classified as “right wing”, then, logically, blacks killing whites should be “left wing”, but they don’t count that at all!
The ADL pushes extreme anti-white propaganda, therefore they are a hate group. Plain and simple.

Speaking as a Jew: ADL is NOT a Jewish organization. It is an ultra-left activist org that pushes radical transgenderism, border erasure, police dismantlement, and the demolition of free speech—deploying rank slander, bullying and character assassination to achieve its aims.
These views and tactics are expressly contrary to sacred Jewish and biblical teaching.
When justly criticized, ADL and its defenders falsely claim anti-Semitism, thereby diminishing all past and present victims of anti-Semitism.
In fact, conflating criticism of ADL with criticism of Jews is itself an anti-Semitic trope.
Bottom line: ADL is a disreputable organization that has gravely undermined Jewish interests and is worthy of the strongest condemnation.
