For those in the defence forces reading this. If you are being deployed today in anyway relating to policing the #FuelProtest, make sure you have clear unit identification on your vehicles and person. If for any reason beyond your control you don't, make sure to tell the civilians you encounter what unit you are serving in. Do not disobey any lawful order and don't try to be a lawyer. Just make sure it is known what unit you are serving in (same applies to vehicles). The Garda do the pushing and shoving, not you, don't lay a finger on person or property yourself. @defenceforces @dfreserve

@Greenscape31 Didn’t know it was happening. Started at possibly the beehive and ended at that lay-by after Brittas. I seen no notification of it Seems to have been started by a group of unintelligent looking farmers and the son of a local lorry man.

My terminally wife was late for a radiation treatment because of the blockade. How could you sympathise with any group capable of endangering life. There are no words words to describe such behaviour. Trust me , given my anger, it is better that I don’t try #fuelprotest
