alot of people are reading this tweet and thinking shuyao's position = farmers are bad. it's not. the issue with terminal is that users (farmers included) were systematically losing money. the way that current app system was structured (too inclusive) was basically leading lambs to the slaughter. the ideal scenario is the user (farmers included) make money, or atleast have a clear path to making money. any mega rewards are a cherry on top. the opposite was happening on the terminal program. this decision was done to protect users. now, farmers who were willing to lose money for a higher APY are upset, and that statement is true because their ability to size more into the trade is no longer available.

Building anything right now feels extremely hard. No one seems to care about your product or your idea, no matter what you do or how much money you put into it. But I know for sure that if you keep developing your skills, they will pay off next time. That doesn’t mean you should give up or jump from one field to another. I’ve done that many times, and it never led to anything. Just. Do. What. You. Love.
