@ToonTalkPro The 'big 6' are 6 clubs who have contractual agreement in place with sky to be branded as such and receive more coverage. So if we are suddenly part of a big 7, then that means we've done a deal with sky
English

🚨 The Premier League ‘big six’ has been officially rebranded as the ‘big seven’ by Sky ahead of the new season.
The historic ‘big six’ of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur has had Newcastle added to it.
This has angered a lot of Aston Villa and West Ham fans who have vented their anger at sky. #NUFC

@FabrizioRomano Seems this is our best/only option to ensure we comply with financial rules. Hope we have buy back clause.

My time at Newcastle United has come to an end. Firstly , I would like to thank the club for giving me a great opportunity to play for them. I would also like to give a massive thank you to the fans for their support as I really enjoyed representing the club. ⚫️⚪️ #NUFC

@DDriveklepp @Scottwilsonecho Don't think Ritchie was in the European squad this season, not sure about Dummett. Only game time would be league Cup or if there is another massive injury crisis. I think they also help settle the younger players. Ritchie helped Gordon when he first joined and was off pace
English

@Scottwilsonecho What’s the point of being in Europe if it’s to give players like Ritchie and Dummett new contract and gametime? MOVE ON FFS.
English

⚫️⚪️ Paul Dummett and Matt Ritchie could both be offered new contracts on Tyneside - if #NUFC find themselves in the Conference League next season…

@michaeltbh Deserts used to be my favourite biome to build in. Now feel rare and always seem to be covered in shallow water. Lush cave trees ruin them too. Update the pyramids and tombs, involving archaeology more. Add mummys to tombs, tougher, faster zombie variant, that doesn't burn in sun
English

@nufcsanjay Isak needs to come wide to try to win the ball when we are trying to clear it up the pitch on either side. All you see is someone like Almiron booting it clear up the wing and Isak is just gently jogging around the centre

Say it quietly… say it quietly… say it quietly…
I think Newcastle have a real shot at winning the FA Cup this season. 😬 #NUFC

@Minecraft Used to love building cities in large biome Deserts, but now they always seem to be covered in shallow water MDGA

@Nufc2Everything I don't think Wilson needs replacing, we just need a 3rd striker in the squad. Both Isak and Wilson have had very little service over the past month or so.
English

No ifs or buts.
Miggy needs replacing. (RW)
Dubravka needs replacing. (GK)
Tonalis ban needs covering. (CDM)
Wilson needs replacing (ST)
I have no confidence what so ever that we will replace any of them and will just bring in Phillips and class barnes and willock as new signings come there return.
Personally I’d bring this lot in! 👇🏽

@bnwbanter Also hard to come up with, or rather practice, a plan B when there is no time for training sessions in between fixtures.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗
If two back-to-back defeats in a matter of days has taught us something we deep-down already knew, it’s that our beloved Newcastle United will always have the power to ruin Christmas.
And more than ever, you get the feeling that Eddie Howe might feel under the first spell of ‘pressure’ since he sat in the St. James’ Park dugout over two years ago.
Pressure that naturally comes from seven losses in the last eight games and by no means pressure that should result in any fan wanting a P45 handed to our manager. There seems to be a stronger anger towards the suggestion of people asking for Howe’s head on the chopping board rather than it actually being said. We don’t know anyone on the concourses, away buses or in the many bars of Newcastle asking for that change, do you?
With success comes a larger microscope from opposing managers, fans, journalists and football scientists sat behind their computers in training grounds. A criticism of Eddie Howe right now may be his lack of strict Plan B because well… a two-year transformation from relegation fodder to fourth place and a cup final has meant he’s never really needed one, has he?
When the going gets tough, as opposition counter the intensity from our two banks of midfield/forward three, a manager who seems to thrive off his squad being versatile, must quickly learn to adapt system to suit.
The word ‘fatigue’ also can’t be ignored. It may trigger large parts of our fanbase when it is suggested that tired legs are affecting performances and at times, that’s us included. But ten games in thirty days for a bare-thin squad that set up to press from the very first whistle is very different to a side who may surrender possession and cover considerably less kilometres in doing so; we’re maybe all guilty of forgetting that. A five-day break before our next game at Anfield will be the longest spell of time on the training ground since November, and that’s merely a fact.
Of course our league fixtures don’t get any easier and there is the small matter of an overdue meeting with an old enemy.
But now is not a time for unrest or doubt in this team and management that has achieved so much in so little time, it is a time for unity as we find ourselves driving over our first real ‘bump in the road’ in over two years.
With a January transfer window on the horizon, an injury-list that will no doubt get shorter before it gets longer (touch wood) and a reduction in fixture congestion in the new year we have absolutely no doubts the ship will be steadied and what has become normal service will be resumed.
And if upon reflecting on your 2023 highlights as the end of the year draws in, you find yourself reminiscing invading Trafalgar Square with bags of off-licence cans, beers on Italian canals and memories of Mbappe being overshadowed by a boy from Blyth… ask yourself one question, does the man responsible for those highlights deserve your faith?
