WOLTEMADE SCAPEGOAT Did Woltemade miss a bunch of sitters last night? Or was it Wissa, Gordon & Willock? Because looking on here you’d think it was Woltemade 🤣 Big Nick actually played the pass that created the best chance of the game in a half of football where our midfield couldn’t keep the ball for shit - Man City ripped through them and our defence was a total shambles. Our set up in the first half was a strikers worst nightmare to play in. We conceded 3 goals in 30 minutes! Yet Nick’s the one getting scapegoated because god forbid we ask why the manager left us WIDE OPEN again like he did against Liverpool. Clueless from Eddie! Without Woltemade’s goals in his first premier league season we would be fighting relegation and yet nobody brings up the fact our 4 wingers have THREE premier league assists between them this season. The service isn’t bad, it’s NON EXISTENT. Our plan to score is just Big Sam tactics - cross it in! but we have the worst crossers in the league and no plan B. Woltemade’s not beyond criticism of course but the lack of criticism elsewhere shows that he’s just the easy one to pile on because people don’t wanna point the finger at the real cause of this mess. Eddie Howe. Credit when it goes right but never blamed when it goes wrong because he’s the media darling and people still see us as plucky underdogs and not one of the highest net spends in the league which is the reality. He signed £250m worth of players in the summer of HIS choosing and didn’t even think about changing the system to suit his new striker to match what worked at Stuttgart or Germany. He’s changed the system to get Dan Burn in the side but not to get the best out of his striker? Joke! We give Eddie all the credit for improving Murphy & Joelinton etc in the past. Why are Wissa, Elanga, Woltemade, Tonali, Murphy, Gordon, our entire defence all regressing this season? If he gets the credit for it going well he should get the blame for it getting worse. That’s totally logical and yet some people seem seen to support Eddie more than the actual Club! If you’re singling out Woltemade for a performance where Newcastle were 3-0 down inside 30 minutes then start with the manager and many other players who had shockers in that game directly costing us goals, rather than a player who was signed to score goals and gets a no service. #NUFC
