Head coach Nick Nurse will continue in his role into a fourth season with the 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Four-time NBA championship architect Bob Myers, the president of sports for Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, will be tasked to lead the search for the new head executive for the 76ers and he will oversee the franchise's basketball department in the interim.

A good start, but the new GM will still be stuck with massive contracts that he can’t move and an overall mediocre roster.

@fried_egg_golf Was stunned to see this news today. If his current ball is going to be playable, then it’s pointless to continue down the rollback path if their guidelines don’t change. And if they don’t, they’ve simply wasted millions of OEM dollars with this charade.

RIP Lou ❤️ I had the good fortune to get to know Lou & his lovely wife Patsy during my time at Bonita Bay Club after college. We played numerous times and spent countless hours on the range together. What a wonderful gentleman and a great player. He’ll be dearly missed.

What are your honest thoughts on todays Sixers game 4? I will be honest first... I am OK if they lose... get the offseason started sooner and hopefully see if Josh Harris has it in him to FIRE Daryl Morey

This is going to come down as a referendum on Joel Embiid, because most things do. And his defensive mobility is an issue, especially since the Jaylen Brown incident late in the Boston series. But he's one of the few on the Sixers that's actually fighting tonight.

@RealMamaEagle Not only didn’t he try to improve them, he actively made them worse by dumping McCain for no good reason.

I don’t blame anyone for not showing up 3-0 during a season where the GM didn’t even try to improve the team, and the owner being well, Josh Harris.

Jared "sell high" McCain is an 82% shooter for the series. No, not from the free throw line. Not the field either. From 3. 82% from 3. The 76ers gave him away for the 22nd pick this year and 3 seconds.

Sell the Sixers to someone who actually cares about the team, Josh Harris.

The fact they’ve had several talented, intelligent, hardworking and well coached Villanova players right in their backyard and haven’t had a single one on the roster, tells you all you need to know about how poorly run this Sixers organization has been.

The Sixers have embarrassed the city of Philadelphia. The dreaded double broom 🧹🧹I tried to tell people who celebrated winning the 1st round that it was fools gold. I’m disgusted for the city and anybody who was dumb enough to defend them. Some guys know ball. Some don’t.

When you charge exorbitant prices for a bad product, you can’t blame fans for selling their tix for a profit no matter who buys them. Any intelligent Sixers fan knows this team isn’t competitive vs the Knicks. This game is an embarrassment and ownership won’t bat an eye.

The @sixers ownership should be absolutely ashamed at the amount of Knicks fans in their building for these playoff games, but they only care that the building is full, and that’s a huge part of the problem with this entire franchise. Nothing will change w/ Harris. #SellTheTeam
