I don't normally bite on these things, but this is the worst take I've seen in some time. So bad.
It's a 'Super League' mindset. Yet I'm sure in a few weeks we will all be talking about the 'magic of the cup', which is the single biggest characteristic of what makes any cup competition valuable and interesting.

The fact people try to pull @Carra23 down for his footballing ability shows the understanding of some fans. He made of 700 appearances at one of the biggest clubs in the world played against some of the best players in the world and was never dropped.
