Actual 10 year update though? Lacking significantly. No map, no new mechanics, features, no quality of life, no balance changes or killer reworks- this feels like a subpar update, not the 10 year

I’m honestly confused as to why Silence of the Lambs isn’t more prevalent in DbD license discussions? Is there any kind of reason for that? Hannibal Lecter is up there with Myers, Freddy, Bubba, Chucky and Jason.

Watching Jason's gameplay and uh oh. I'm a bit worried about his animations. I think his moris look... fineee? But oh my god his first person animations are so stiff and weird looking 🥹🥹 Maybe they fix it. But it rlly shows that they fired the lead animator

I feel like BHVR is trying their best to show this new original Jason still went through the same general events as the films, or something similar

Eric Pope said this wasn’t the last time we’d see the cabin. There’s no map or survivor for Jason, and the shack isn’t a part of Jason’s power. I genuinely do believe we’ll see the cabin again during the anniversary for an early future killed licensed reveal.

@PocketSteaks My theory is the new Jason's lore is going to be identical to the OG, they just cant call him Jason Voorhees, mention Pamela by name or Camp Crystal lake. It'll just be "Mother" and "the camp". At least I hope so!

I’m not going to make friends saying this but I’m almost disappointed it was actually Jason. Not because I don’t want F13 but because of the timing. The license is so bothered with copyright it’s unlikely we get anything actually from F13 and instead are just getting the mask.

@VectorASpecter I'm gonna hope they go all out of reveals in the stream. If this IS a killer only chapter, survivors might be getting some other liscenses as skins. Kinda like how they had Alien skins, Darkest Dungeon and something else all revealed announcement.

@Jaws4DBD They always reveal more than just the anniversary chapter. They teased the walking dead last year, the year before that we were shown castlevania at the end of the stream. There was also the witcher collection last year.
