Thanks @HSBC for passing me through 6 different people, the awful hold music and finally sending me to a person who said “I’m corporate, I can’t help with personal banking…” Despite the 5 previous people knowing I was an individual. Massive waste of an hour. And still no help.

@djh84 @KulganofCrydee Fair enough. It’s easy to support nurses and teachers who earn very moderate wages. Hard to support strikers who are reported to be in top 10% of earners in the country. But if that’s not accurate I’ll try to find correct info before commenting.

@djh84 @KulganofCrydee Sorry for bringing train drivers in. You obvs have skin in the game there. I’m not a teacher, nurse or junior dr but clearly they are undervalued/deserve more. We want more of them, we should pay them fairly. Train drivers it feels different but good luck to you regardless.

@TheVasConstanti @alanmehdizadeh Maybe someone takes it who just wants experience and to practice their craft… Appreciate not helpful to industry, but don’t we want to encourage theatre to come back post covid? Feels like some slightly over zealous vitriol there. But what do I know. I don’t work in theatre.

@misskerryfitz @rhiannonlucyc Not relatives. Just got out of hospital with 2nd child and as the father I didn’t get food. In this case fine though as I was able to leave and sort myself out. Mothers of sick kids can’t, so should be fed.

@rhiannonlucyc That shouldn't be true. Anyone who stays at the hospital, whether the sick person or their relative, has to be offered food and have access to drinks too. It's NHS policy.

@PoxonJoe Current letter of the law says not a red as not “denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity”. Only a red if deemed serious foul play. Which it wasn’t.

@LivsFoster True. My dad gave me a pouch with 100 condoms in when I was 16 and said “use these”. Can confirm I still had all except the one I’d “experimented” with two years later. To be clear, this was because I hadn’t yet built up to “talking to girls”.

Young girls are told to protect themselves with hormones their body doesn't need from boys or men who want to have sex with them, while young men are what... given a bunch of condoms they'll refuse to use anyway because they don't like the feeling or they 'don't fit' (LOL)

Men may balk at the idea of forced vasectomies, but I wonder how many of them have considered how many teenage (or younger) girls are 'put on,' the pill? I was 13 when it was first suggested, and by suggested I mean heavily encouraged by my doctor.

Have spent approx 6 hours on hold to @axainsurance trying to get medical help. I'm on the verge of giving up but I must applaud the genius of their system, as I'll probably be dead before I can actually utilise my health insurance. That's smart business. AKA a waste of money.
