The Snowman and Father Christmas take place in the same universe. In Father Christmas, Jim and Hilda Bloggs from When the Wind Blows are shown in the pub. This therefore suggests that, canonically speaking, the real ending of The Snowman is a massive nuclear war.

@gralefrit I got about three quarters through it before I bailed. Mainly because once Peter Sellers had the star power to bully people and torpedo projects, he seemingly couldn't resist doing it. Over and over. Which I found fascinating but ultimately depressing.

A last thought about Flatline. As a young child Doctor Who terrified me. So I avoided it. Years later, I get a chance to write for it. My first draft is properly horrific. On some level, I think I was writing a script that was as terrifying as I *imagined* it used to be.
