@TheNerdySteve I think it is still good to default to treat everyone with respect, but it is also fair that everyone, regardless of age, can lose that respect pretty easily.

As I've gotten older, I have realized it's absurd that youth are ever taught to automatically respect elders. So many adults are asinine unintelligent narcissists who bask in their own ignorance and cruelty. I can't believe there are so many.

@TheJoeySwoll Make it a habit to ask friends or coworkers if they're good in a 1-on-1 setting. If they're tired, ask if they're sleeping alright. If not, tell 'm they can safely vent if needed. You'd be surprised how that alone can make a difference.
