This time is spent marking, programming, evaluating, setting up the classroom, doing professional learning, setting up new groups, researching the next history unit….

On Christmas Eve I posted my PCR test results showing I was positive for Covid. There are currently many voices saying many different things about the experience. I certainly don’t want to add to the misinformation out there. This is a just record of what I went though.

@smid00771 @MaralynParker The report assumes classrooms are 65sqm and class size of 25 plus teacher. My room is one of the largest in the school and is 48sqm and most classes have 30 students plus teacher.

What utter contempt the NSW Govt has for its state school teachers. While private schools get their HEPA air cleaners, public schools are told to keep windows open at all times and ‘adjust clothing.’ It is cruel. The NSW Govt CAN AFFORD to buy air cleaners for every classroom
