Adoption and donor conception are unique family narratives. When you try to force unique narratives into an old traditional box, things can get twisted.

Contact between parties cannot and should not be forced, but if mutual consent is given, it should not be blocked by providers.

Families can thrive if donor conception is truly child centered. Parents need support, education and unique skills to navigate new narratives and new definitions of kinship.
