Fast Track: Explore Your Future Student Conference is a collaborative event  with @YCDSB & @YRDSB.  Keynote Calissa Ngozi kicked off the event. Students in Grade 11 & 12 pursuing the apprenticeship and workplace pathways learned more about this transition from our graduates.

Co-op students from @YRDSB are busy getting their Working At Heights certificate. Health and safety is the top priority when our students are going out to the workplace!

The Semester Two cohort of students in YRDSB’s School Within A College program were welcomed by @senecaDC staff during their first day on campus for orientation @SenecaPoly!

It was wonderful to see over 450 students & families at this evening’s event to support the exploration of pathways in the Skilled Trades, hosted in collaboration with @PathwaysYCDSB. Thank you to all the organizations who partnered with us in support of student success.

Strong partnerships between school boards and communities contribute to student achievement. Students and families engaged in pathway discussions with staff and professionals in a variety of fields through a partnership event hosted by ASGC & @YRDSB.

Experiential learning for @YRDSB students in Grades 7-12: At “Level Up!” students visited interactive exhibits, participated in hands-on activities with tradespeople and learned more about careers in the skilled trades @YRDSBPathways @SkilledTradesON

Collaborative professionalism - secondary MLL support teachers networked and discussed ways in which instructional materials could be carefully selected based on MLL step levels and explored methods to amplify texts to support student engagement.

Inclusive education: elementary teachers and administrators engaged in professional learning hosted by ESL/ELD curriculum consultants in support of programming for the success of multilingual language learners in @YRDSB.

SHSM Students enrolled in the Health and Wellness sector in @YRDSB schools had the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities and trending topics in the health care sector through a regional SPE organized by @YRDSBPathways

Collaboration in action with @YorkUniversity Theatre & Dance students and @YRDSB Curriculum Consultants from the Arts Team & @YRDSBPathways team focussed on supporting transitions through the Arts!
