@vaderbogger We've not had the rain to any significant extent (Muir of Ord) and the grass on the knolls and lighter soil is starting to burn off/not recover.

In the words of my "wee" friend from Portmahomack "Chilly for June" Cows and sheep seeking shelter this morning, it's borderline boilersuit and almost gloves morning in that North wind. 8mm yesterday but ground still hard. In other news photosensitive cow making good recovery.

@taijidubh Do excuse my ignorance, but what is a "flat white"? And how is it related to a cup of coffee?

@taijidubh That’s the problem with the Ben Fogle and Darcy Bussell -esque crowd doing docu-series’ about the ‘wild, remote & beautiful’ Scottish highlands and only showing people shearing sheep, weaving cloth & cutting peat... and all whilst having no electricity or TVs. Amazing. 🤦🏽‍♀️

@gracle @taijidubh The shortbread - fabulous and famous! The grumpy somewhat grubby lady on the bakery - not quite so fabulous but definitely infamous!

@taijidubh You didn’t get those in the Muir when I was growing up! Forbes bakery was top notch back in the day right enough...

Got through the no go signs at the border, first time in deep South for 2 years. Son no 1 book theory test in February (was due last Saturday) but looking like September before he would get a slot so here I am 370 miles south to get a pass🤞 Then further south to check out Uni😎

These girls obviously missed the key messaging at last years etiquette school "Eat with your mouth closed" 🍴 🐂 🙂 We'll let them off though as they are 5 wks off calving and clearly enjoying their daily allocation of swedes

As a proud farmer & part of a new farmer led, tree planting initiative that has already put 124,000 trees in the ground, presentations like this get me so cross! We need to work together, holistic & realistic. The facts aren't even accurate! #StumpUpForTrees #NationalForestWales

@HMRCcustomers No but when I went to do subsequent years it asked if I had previously made a claim, I said yes and it said I couldn't make any more?
