These are strange times. I predict the pass mark will be lower this year. If you're scoring over 50% at the moment just work on your weaknesses. Don't agonise over each question: work on a whole topic to build a strong base. DO remember to mark your answer sheet as you go along!

Yesterday's results are in Parent Zone. The high was 95.8% WOW! My most important message is: GET THE EASY ONES RIGHT! Read the question carefully, do your workings carefully. If you get the easy ones right you will score over 70%! Well done everyone. JUST TWO TO GO!!

There are a couple of spaces left in English and Maths Master Classes in August. They are fantastic if you need to focus on one topic.

Mock 3 is tomorrow. There are 2 brand new sections based on very recent CEM news. As always, read the instructions carefully and listen to the voiceover. Over 200 pupils are sitting this mock. Lots of comparative statistics!

Torquay Girls' Grammar has places in year 8 & 9. Entrance tests on 3rd May.
