The time of year when normal food runs out and my yard becomes a salad bar.

I guess I shouldn’t be amazed (but I am) that in 2026, we still have many situations where people have known for years about bad behavior by someone, but they never speak up until one person goes public. Then it’s “Oh yeah, everybody knew.”

But this diary reminds me of all the places she took me and all the things she made for me. That’s nice to remember. And I got to eat Mexican food in Spanish class!
