Look at that shine! Carousel fun fact: if you look closely, you can see that many of our horses have textured saddles. The effect is produced by pressing wrinkled plastic on to the finish, then letting it set.

Did you know our Carousel is staffed by many talented young artists? You might recognize Sarah in this photo, one of our lovely operators putting her skills towards fixing up the horses this season.

Winter means that during the week the Carousel is closed for our annual restoration! We'll be posting special highlights in the next few weeks of all of the hard work being done to keep our horses looking great.
