My platform includes advocacy for bonding dollars for critical infrastructure projects in Corcoran and other district 37 cities that are growing.

This evening I stopped in the Corcoran City Council meeting to observe what city leaders and staff are working on. I spent several days door knocking in Corcoran this summer and I fell in love with the wide open space, beautiful vistas, and the kind people.

I spent some time this evening calling and checking in on people. During these difficult times, we have to take care of one another.

America is about peace, opportunity, justice, and freedom. Not death, destruction, and hate. Please everyone be safe and watch out for one another.

I am horrified and heartbroken to learn that a woman was shot and killed by ICE today in Minneapolis. We need an about face in this country. The violence and conflict we have experienced the last few months is not sustainable.

So much gratitude to everyone who came out last night for our New Years Eve Eve fundraiser. This was a fun Q&A hosted by my friend Tom Anderson and his wife, Dr Jodi Milburn.

It had nothing to do with her vote on the budget bill and everything to do with the actions of a violent extremist who was targeting tens of MN lawmakers and will face the full consequences of the law #mnleg

Family is not just blood, it is community. And the light of Jesus, the spirit of Christmas, is service. Love, light, and peace to you all this Christmas Eve.

I couldn’t leave town this year for Christmas because I had a veteran in crisis to take care of. That gave me an opportunity to worship at my home church for Christmas Eve. And I will be sharing a meal with friends from my gym for dinner.

I squeezed in one last shift as a shopping elf at @crossservicesmn before the holidays. It’s always so much fun seeing the joy the families have after experiencing the toy shop!
