this is the gist of what i was trying to say (in an exaggerated way lmao). the “matt murdock” side of matt was essentially erased in BA. the stakes that tie him to his humanity were not there in a meaningful way. certainly not enough to make me feel like the reveal was earned

#DaredevilBornAgain spoilers I think the biggest problem with the identity reveal is that for me it had no weight to it. They haven’t built up Matt’s personal life enough for me to believe this would be really impactful. Physically, he is in jail. Emotionally, what did he lose?

no because how did "one good deed" + "i had to get my mind back" dex willingly agree to work for someone ? and yes i'm aware of guns for hire bullseye (in the comics) but without it being addressed how charles + dex even got connected it’s just sloppy ?

they didn’t even show that dex is NOT a antihero. ppl who don’t know the character from the comics & his true nature will think he’s something he’s not. he is a supervillain. bullseye cannot be adapted without adapting hes a villain it’s vital to who he is

@VampireHeart69 I think it's fully intentional from Matt. It's more of “I don’t trust this guy” kind of thing and he don’t want to give Dex the satisfaction of being dealt with like a regular person after all the aweful things Dex did
