Importantly, through the lens of #anatolyfomenko & the #newchronology Fomenko and Nosovsky explicitly link the Gothic architectural style and period to the Russian-Horde Empire, framing it as a product or direct reflection of that empire's cultural and building activities in the 14th–16th centuries (with roots extending back to the 12th–13th centuries in their compressed chronology). 🔥They argue that what mainstream history calls "Gothic" (pointed arches, tall spires, ribbed vaults, etc., traditionally dated to the 12th–16th centuries in Western Europe) originated from the architectural traditions of the Russian-Horde Empire (also called the Great = "Mongolian" Empire or Rus'-Horde). Western Europe was a colonized or provincial part of this empire, so its cathedrals imitated the metropole's style. "The style of temples which today are known as 'gothic' are based on the architecture of the old Russian-Horde cathedrals of the XIV-XVI cc. which formed later in Western Europe."
