I try to stay away from politics on here, but have you ever been in a school? It's a nightmare. It's thousands of children, all in the same building. Any adult who has to work in a school should get a bajillion dollars a year. In a high school? Double it.

There are around 195 days in the school year. Over 14 years, from JK-12, a child will spend approximately 2,730 days in school. So tell me, should I be more concerned about our children missing a few days of school, or about the well-being of the institution of public education?
