They are hiring in Nigeria, paying in naira, while the headquarters sits in the UK. The CEO wakes up in London, goes to the office, grabs his morning coffee, pays rent in pounds… while the workforce powering the system is earning in naira. How do you expect him to pay in pounds? By your logic, the likes of KPMG and other multinationals should pay in foreign currency since their headquarter is Amsterdam. Also, only a handful will pay you the dollars equivalent of salary in a similar role abroad because economies differs. Even some banks and companies across different states in Nigeria pay depending on the state you work.
