Given the stage, was that the single greatest Illini performance in the NBA… ever? Deron had a 57 point game, and Nick Anderson once scored 50, but those were regular season games. Ayo just put up 43 to win a playoff game after both of Minnesota’s starting guards went down.

When Ayo Dosunmu got traded to Minnesota he said how reinvigorating it was for him to be on the move to a contender & that he hoped to provide that burst. Chris Finch has said Dosunmu’s attitude has been helpful in more ways than one.
