I hate that I'm about to tweet this, but we should take one of TJ Parker, Zion Young, or Gabe Jacas at 40 tomorrow. I know what that means for the offense, but they really need an edge rusher and I think all those guys can play immediately.

Don't know how many points they are going to score, but I'd rather the Chiefs just go with and edge like Jacas at 40 and I will at least come out of this draft thinking the defense will be very high level by about Week 6.

Sometimes it’s nice to be right about things. Even more so when it’s your specific position and area of expertise. OT never made sense at 9 in any way, 29 could’ve worked but still thought bigger and greater needs. Was a smokescreen all along as expected.

Early 2nd round thought: Chiefs are going to tell us how important they think WR is. This is the last chance in theory to get a rookie you can expect to contribute in 2026.
