He asks what he’s doing and he tells the owner he’s taking a break. The owner says there is no break and he needs to get back to work. The young man tells him he’s lucky because all he has to do is ride the mower. He tells him he’s taking a break and he will be back to work in a bit. If you were the owner, would you fire him on the spot? Another entitled youngster? Or, does the kid have a point, it’s fine to take a break? What would you do if that was your business and employee?

$LMND is my biggest position and I've been completely open about that. Here's how I think about the numbers for this quarter (hint: it's bullish) IFP hit $1.33B which is 32.2% on PY and revenue jumped to $258M which is 70.6% on PY. If you annualize that revenue with a bit of growth...we can hit ~$1.28B in revs in FY26. Gross loss ratio fell to 62% from 78% with NLR down to 63% from 82% (PY)... this is also in historically the weakest quarter for $LMND as well. Gross profit came in at $100.1M (up 159% YoY) with a gross margin of 39% on revenue. Annualized that's $400M run rate right now before loss ratios and reinsurance improvements materialize throughout the year. My personal model has ~$490M in gross profit so I think that's entirely feasible given Q1 is historically a bit weaker. At $4.32B market cap, we're therefore trading ~8.8x gross profit for a business growing gross profit at 159% YoY with a clear path to further expansion. I'd say that's cheap. Wouldn't you?
