REPORT: The Dallas #Cowboys and 2x Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott have had discussions about a new long-term deal, per @jeffphowe. At the time it does not appear imminent, sources tell @TheAthletic. But there is motivation for the team to lower his 2024 cap hit, to help absorb the potential massive extensions for young stars Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb. Prescott signed a four-year, $160 million extension in 2021, which made him the highest-paid all-time based on value at signing. Dak could be looking at nearly 50 million per year on the new deal 🤯
