Wild to think that Jared Bednar, one of the best coaches in the sport, has been nominated for the Jack Adams just once in his entire career. Once again, Bednar wasn't nominated this year despite his best season as a coach. Avs being snubbed seems to be the theme of award season

@chrispronger also play a game where you dont have controversial calls decide your fate. They'll happen, you cant control that. But if you kill penalties, work hard, stay disciplined, you dont have these calls decide the game.

There are always going to be calls you don’t like especially this time of year. You can’t control the whistle. You can control your response. Stay disciplined. Stay locked in. Play your game. That’s how you win when it matters most.

@ReindeerGames91 furthermore...like...i get wanting to argue the ref couldn't tell...(irrelevant, but i get it) but also, its not difficult to see that from the boards. Next time anyone is on the ice, stand where the linesman was. Look towards the goal. You can tell if a puck crossed that.

For those wondering the NHL both with the on ice call after review and this statement make it clear that video review determined the puck full crossed the line. That is the be all end all of it and makes the on ice call a non factor.

@ProducerDrew_ It seems more that people are advocating that Toronto should have got the call wrong with the way the rules are…which is like…I think you’ve lost the plot if you are saying the wrong call should have been made…lol

@ryanwhitney6 @spittinchiclets The goal is to get the call right. The right call is good goal and there is enough conclusive video evidence for that. Could have been called no goal on the ice, same result at the end. And it’s the correct result. That puck did cross the line.
