@kirstylove864 @Zeshankenzo Definitely trusty’s fault for a poorly timed attempt to header the ball which led to him being underneath the player that won the ball. Watch slow mo clip as the ball comes in, you might at the very least acknowledge that this incident is not an open and shut case.

@Zeshankenzo It's now Trusty's fault for being shoved with two hands whilst trying to get to the ball, all the while being elbowed by another player, how made Nicholson touch the ball. Least they're conceding in that scenario, the ball did touch the hand.

The hyperbolic, optic fog is slowly clearing and with no arguments to negate the handball decision, it’s now simply people shouting and barely referencing the incident anymore. The only argument they had is gone and it’s venting now.

@Zeshankenzo Optic fog 🤔 what is optic fog vs non optic fog? Whilst we are it, when is another players body movement (trusty - in case you have optic fog) causing an opposing players hand to touch the ball considered in the deliberation of whether a foul has taken place or not?

@fpl_tactician Agree Andy. Trusty remains miles away from heading the ball throughout. A badly timed jump has caused the other players arm to go higher as he is effectively jumping underneath the Motherwell player but somehow the Motherwell player is adjudged to have fouled. Disgusting

Seen too many freeze frames of Nicholson handballing. He does handball it. No question. Here’s a freeze frame as Nicholson is just about to jump as high as he can for the ball. Trusty is yards away. Nicholson only has eyes on the ball the whole time. He uses his arms as leverage like anyone does. The only reason he handballs is it because Trusty runs from behind, jumps through Nicholson and knocks his arm into the ball. No pen

@0LuboLubo0 @EmmaEmm21 Wait, he elbows the player and purposefully handballs all in the one move, is this Motherwell player like some sort of Steven Seagal?

@Jason67136815 @EmmaEmm21 The player tries to use his arms as leverage and elbows the Celtic player in an attempt to header the ball. Not the Celtic player jumping?

Can someone explain to me in simple terms how that’s not a Hand ball !? Am actually baffled at the outrage by it ?

@thebassa2 And conversely those that think it was a non accidental handball are Celtic supporters 🤔 Hardly the best case to put forward chump.

@Hun_Occhio @mstewart_23 Does the Celtic defenders shoulder and the arm of the Falkirk player have a part? Serious question, did the momentum of the Celtic player jumping have any effect on the arm? If your answer is anything but it caused his arm to be so high then you are the one with the long nose.

What I find funny, is the ones who claimed it wasnt handball then jump on the AI images. But the second they are presented with the legitimate images, they fall silent. @mstewart_23 a prime example of this.

@20MinuteTims Ignoring the pic does not show the hand actually touching the ball, and ignoring that what the pic does actually show is the Celtic players shoulder forcing the arm higher, then yeah case closed.

This is real and this is the last word we’ll say on it. Handball. Very brave call from the VAR and referee under huge pressure. These are the calls we want referees to be taking, this is the purpose of VAR. Others would rather play with narratives. Case closed.

@desfilmsstuff Does it need a degree in physics to identify the force (mass x acceleration) of the Celtic players shoulder caused the players arm to travel higher? If the ball touched his hand could it just maybe, just maybe be adjudged accidental ?

@JaiP72 @KevMcnee Agree @JaiP72, so not a deliberate action, and if it is a handball then it would be accidental.

@TheParkheadF Now put a defender under the arm causing it to go higher and you might be halfway there to understanding better.

Someone tell me how this can POSSIBLY have hit his head? It is physically impossible for it to have hit his head with his arm in that position.

On what planet can you just run a knee a player straight in the back? This is more of a penalty than the one they got. Incredible when you see these replays. SFA desperate for Hearts to win the title.

@Zeshankenzo Does the wider argument include managers having a private one to one with the head of referees prior to a key match?

The reason this is never a red is because when AJ makes the tackle, he is miles clear of Moore and his foot is ahead of Moore. AJ isn't then responsible for Moores motion. Had he lunged towards more directly there's an argument. But you can't win a ball any cleaner than this 🤣
