@saila @heretohinder @shmick The web has taken an energy efficient approach out of necessity. Web sites optimized for lower bandwidth and mobile networks, use less power. Most power hungry apps in the cloud aren't web related - they're back end things the web itself never sees - mining crypto, HPC, etc..
