@MishaalRahman If they'd even tried to make the crease less distracting I'd have been all over it. Went for the Pro XL instead 👀

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is better than the original Pixel Fold in almost every aspect, including security: Its face unlock is more secure than on the original. More details on what this means can be found over on Android Police👇 androidpolice.com/pixel-9-pro-fo…

@deepss1 @MishaalRahman It is the result of many years of tech debt and lack of prioritisation, rather than outright approval to be in the state it's in today

Here's a sneak peek at the revamped top-level settings homepage that Google is working on. This isn't live yet in Android 15 Beta 3, but I've created a mockup based on what the code suggests it'll look like. Screenshots can be found👇 androidauthority.com/android-15-set…

@JasonBayton You have to start somewhere. And likely you won't need it all day. More like an evening if you are going for a fashionable outing. The whole use case is in the 1st sentence: *Imagine matching your phone to any clothes you own". It's a fashion accessory, not a rugged scanner :)

This is why they remain concepts. What use case does this address? What UX issue does it overcome over a normal slab/foldable? Can't exactly do health monitoring, which could be a use case, barely looks attached!

Motorola's just launched a flexible concept phone that can be worn on your wrist. Really interesting way of fusing the smartwatch and the phone, but I personally would NOT trust this thing to stay on my wrist 😅 - Thoughts?

@arsenbn "Valasek implied that this somewhat bulky wearable was only meant to aid in keeping the user 'hands free' in a pinch." says DailyMail (sorry). Can't imagine it'll support battery life for foregoing pockets all day either, tbh.

@JasonBayton You forget that ladies fashion, unlike men's, does not consider pockets a necessity. Try carrying a clutch all day for your phone alone and you will find yourself a major use case.

Another milestone to celebrate our 10th anniversary 🎈 We set a new bar when the Fairphone 2 became the first Android phone 📱 to receive seven years of support. It's a bar we smashed ourselves 💥 and now, the Fairphone 5 boasts eight years of support. 💚 #Fairphone10Years

@mitchellmebane @MishaalRahman @timcappalli @davey_burke The old behaviour was perfectly fine. The mass notifications when it was turned on was the trade off for absolute privacy and disconnection, like turning a work phone off and back on as you say. I don't see it as an improvement really, but I'm just one opinion.
