Google just said the quiet part out loud: Quantum computers could begin breaking today’s encryption by ~2029. That means everything built on current cryptographic assumptions: banks, governments, data infrastructure, is already on a countdown timer. And the dangerous part isn’t the moment it happens. It’s the data being stolen right now to be decrypted later. Most systems will scramble to migrate when it’s already too late. @diamante_io didn’t build for the present standard.
