NASA's James Webb Telescope has officially activated its cameras to capture its first target star. The telescope will capture 18 blurry images, that will be merged to create a single sharp image of the star. Super cool! More info on the telescope: webb.nasa.gov/content/about/…

Yesterday was the 60th anniversary of the launch of Discoverer 36 with its OSCAR 1 payload, a radio satellite built totally by amateurs. The event marked two amazing firsts: 1st private non-government spacecraft and 1st piggyback satellite. tinyurl.com/2p95ez3t
