I'm rolling up my sleeves to hold President Trump accountable and help rebuild the Democratic Party.  I’m excited to lead our efforts to recruit quality candidates as we work to take back the House.

None of us asked for this moment. But we’re in a fight to save our country. I’m stepping up to lead, protect our democracy, and build something new for Coloradans.

Rep. Jason Crow on the president warning Americans could die: "How amazing of Donald Trump to say, you know, that often happens in war. And that's a cost he's willing to take. Great for him. It's not his kids. It's not his family. It's not his billionaire donors who are having to go off and do it."

Trump is plunging us into another war in the Middle East. He’s learned nothing from decades of failed conflicts. It’s a war of choice with no clear end game, no authorization from Congress, and little support from Americans. I went to war three times for this country and learned that when elites in Washington bang the war drums, working class folks pay the price. The tough talk of a five-time draft dodger falls flat for Americans tired of military adventurism. Americans want us out of the regime change business. Endless war has cost us thousands of lives and trillions of dollars. Meanwhile, Americans are struggling to pay for health care, groceries, and housing. This Administration owes Congress and Americans answers. Congress should return to Washington immediately to vote on the War Powers Resolution and ensure the safety of our servicemembers.

I'm grateful that our friend, @JasonCrowCO, and other lawmakers won't be indicted, but Trump's weaponization of the DOJ to target and silence opposition will inevitably continue. The courts and the people are the stopgap we have until the midterm elections.
