I got bad news from the oncologist this morning. They are not going to operate and remove my colon cancer. Because the scans have shown it's travelled to my liver and right lung. Also, to my lymph nodes, I've been told they can treat me with chemotherapy, but only to help me live a bit longer. But ultimately, they can't save me. I asked how long I have? The Doctor can't be sure, but between 1 - 2 years at most. It wasn't the news I wanted to hear. I'm still young. And had planned lots to do. But that's it. I'll never be an old man. I'm still trying to process all this and why the colon cancer itself won't be removed. Surely it being left there will only spread more?. As far as I understand it's because it's spread and they can't operate in that area. I start chemotherapy in two weeks on 13th September 2024. #ColonCancer #Cancer #NHS #Scotland

@Andrew__Kennedy Always take your receipt when you pay. A receipt will be generated. Or switch to ASDA. Sometimes their security guards stop you at the door and ask to see your receipt. So always get one. Sounds like they really messed you about. Contact the owner of Tesco.

Hi @Tesco On Good Friday I experienced the most awful and humiliating experience in your Hurst Park (Surrey) store. I popped in to pick up groceries on my way to visit friends. I used “scan as you go” as I always do, and paid £75.92 for my groceries, using my Apple Pay.
