amazing how many times i see WST posting videos and congratulations to the women's world champs but never any mention of the world seniors champs... here is a reminder of who won our title. last time I checked both were WPBSA events...

@JasonFrancis900 PS: Did you actually consult senior tour stalwarts like multiple finalist Ken, multiple winner Jimmy and others such as Igor how they felt about the prospect of playing Ronnie and Williams (until he pulled out), if so what was there response to sudden pulling of the rug?

@TennisRatings no i think he had commitments in china as he was at GBE and Womens Champs but Jason is not on the WSS Board anymore but always welcome as he knows

yes i approached @WomensSnooker and offered to run an event, cover all tv production costs and talent and they declined my offer. Such a shame as when we put them on tv we get such a positive reaction and even their worlds was only on youtube with a single camera and no comms or presenting.

@JasonFrancis900 Could you run a women's league in the 900? I reckon there's room for the 'traditional' tournaments as well as the 900. If WST are polar opposites, as they seem to be, the where's the problem. Snooker is snooker and genuine fans can, and do enjoy both.

@noyourma856 and that is why all players want q schools scrapped and q tour expanded... thats how great it is in players minds. maybe do the math on entries x 960, pretty sure if will get you a few tables, hotel rooms and refs.

@JasonFrancis900 The prize for Q school is QUALIFYING, the entry fee covers the cost of hosting it, 40 matches today alone that require 10 tables and 10 refs, you couldn’t even organise 2 suitable tables with a much bigger budget, they literally REFUSED to play on they were SO bad ffs, laughed at

@JasonFrancis900 You made a mockery of the Seniors and its ethos by having the 4th MAIN draw fave play in it. It’s like Djokovic playing Tennis Legends against McEnroe! The ONLY reason he bothered playing in it is the 900 series link. You think Ronnie actually cares about winning a Seniors ? 😂
