Some may call it rational, some say it’s overly conservative. But Monti hasn’t shown much willingness to engage in bidding wars in free agency, and I don’t see that changing this year.

There are quarterbacks we’ll forget as the years roll by. Kyler Murray is not one of them. Most electric player I’ve ever seen - when he’s on, there’s no one like him. And seems like a great guy off the field. I personally will be delighted to see him succeed elsewhere.

To everyone that supported me and showed kindness to my family and I during my time in AZ, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. The McVay/Shanahan tree is so widespread that guys keep hiring friends into new roles. When LaFleur was hired, my concern was that the competition for familiar assistants would make it tough to build a staff. A Rallis–Hackett coordinator pairing makes that feel very real.

It feels like saying thank you isn’t enough, but a huge thanks to everyone over the past week.
