@OKCobstinacy OKC would be well positioned to make this trade, but I think it would make it very hard to build out the team over their window. Chet would have to stay for interior defense, so you’d give up Dub, then your ball handers get thin. Mostly rely on your draft picks for 5 years

🔮 If OKC loses to Wemby this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jokic ends up there. Gives Denver a real ability to reset with all the assets OKC has and gives OKC the weapon they need to compete w/ Wemby while Shai at height of his powers. A top player that would extend there too

Very clearly Lakers don’t want the Thunder game planning for the next 5 days for Luka. He plays in the series - no doubt.

My MVP take: Jokic put up an all-time great center season, SGA did the same for a guard. Different roles make it hard to compare. You can argue impact metrics all day, but at some point wins matter—64 wins is a pretty clean separator.

Genuinely think if this goes in, he is gonna win in a playoff, which is why those Rory birds on 12-13 felt so huge. Scottie had to get one of the hard holes coming in.
